Children with ASD have difficulties with social interaction and communication through words. However, they can better express themselves through music. Not only is music fun and enjoyable, it gives children with ASD a channel to express who they are and help them build confidence.
Gift Love and Artsteer will be organising Play with Music “Ukulele Lessons for Autistic Kids” this summer, aiming to engage children with ASD and volunteers to learn music and play the Ukulele together. There will be a total of 10 lessons to be held during the Summer. Each child will bring home a Ukulele where they can practise outside of class time. They will also be performing as a group at their own graduation performance.
Please support this crowdgifting event and give these children a memorable and meaningful summer. Supporters can volunteer to help out during the lessons and will be able to hear their performance too.
